We’re expanding our European footprint with the addition of Latvia to Maventa’s supported countries. This enhancement strengthens our commitment to facilitating seamless cross-border business communications across the EU.
Registration requirements
When registering Latvian companies, integrators must use LV:VAT as the business identifier (bid). The format follows EU standards with the country prefix LV followed by the VAT registration number.

Our implementation maintains the same rigorous validation standards and reliability that you’ve come to expect from Maventa across all supported EU countries.
How to register
Currently, Latvian companies can be registered exclusively through our SOAP or REST API. If you attempt to register a Latvian company through the user interface, you’ll be prompted to contact Maventa Support for assistance.
For partners managing KYC independently: Registration is straightforward with no additional steps required.
For partners using Maventa’s KYC process: Unfortunately, Latvian company registration is not yet available as Maventa cannot currently authorize customers through Visma Sign for this jurisdiction.

- Internal network traffic: Seamless sending and receiving within Maventa’s network
- Peppol connectivity: Full Peppol sending and receiving capabilities
- Email invoicing: Reliable email delivery with our enhanced layouts
- Print services: Traditional invoice printing and postal delivery. Printed in Finland and sent from Finland.
- Scan services: Both AutoScan and DocScan are available providing automated OCR and document scanning workflows
