Allowed to register Latvian (LV) companies

The changes enable support for registering Latvian companies using LV:VAT identification numbers through both REST and SOAP APIs. This expands Maventa’s coverage to include Latvia as a supported country for company registration.

API Changes

• Company registration endpoints now accept LV as a valid country
  • Param country in SOAP API
  • Param country in REST API

Supported Features

• Full VAT number validation using both internal format checking and external VIES verification

Integration Requirements

When registering Latvian companies, integrators must use LV:VAT as the business identifier (bid). The format should include the country prefix LV followed by the VAT registration number (e.g., LV40103863798).

The implementation ensures that Latvian companies can be registered with the same validation standards and reliability as other supported EU countries.
